A Weekend in Leavenworth

Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone is has been having a good week so far. I just started my Spring quarter this week, after not being in school since last spring, so it’s been pretty weird re-adjusting to getting up at 6 AM everyday and trying to balance class, work, and blogging (as well as designated Netflix time, am I right folks!?) Anyhow, it’s been pretty busy around here lately, and I never thought I would say it, but I’m so happy to be back in school! And all this work talk has got me reminiscing about our relaxing weekend trip to Leavenworth with Tuyet, Devin, and our friend Vincent.

For those of you who don’t know, Leavenworth is a lovely little Bavarian town a just few hours outside of Seattle. It was Devin’s 30th birthday, so we rented out a cabin out there in the mountains for a weekend of relaxing and exploring Leavenworth. All of the buildings in the town is Bavarian-styled, and seeing the distinctive architecture against the mountainous background is something straight out of a fairytale.

Not only is Leavenworth a gorgeous little town, they also have some super amazing food. If you know me, you would know that I love me some carbs, and I went to town on their famous giant pretzels! It was such a fun weekend filled with yummy foods, gorgeous sight-seeing, and drinking in hot tubs, haha. But really, if you’ve never been to Leavenworth, you should definitely add it to your list! It’s a small town with so much to offer, and I can’t wait to go back! Until next time guys!
